I was born in a Pukhtoon family in Kohat KPK where there was no awareness of bleeding disorders or Hemophilia. We had no history of Hemophilia in our family. I was the first one and due to no awareness and regular bleeds in my knee joint I got deformity in my joint. My younger brother also died due to intracranial bleed who was also suffering from Hemophilia.
My father shifted to Rawalpindi City for me so I get proper treatment as there is treatment available in Rawalpindi.
I am living a normal life now, I have done masters in Public Health Management and am running a successful business.

As a VWD patient from a middle-class family in Pakistan, I have faced numerous challenges in my life. However, thanks to the support of the Hemophilia Patients Welfare Society in Rawalpindi, I have been able to overcome these obstacles and pursue my dreams. Now, at the age of 28, I am studying for my Bachelor's degree and living a better life, all thanks to the resources and assistance provided by the society. Without their support, I would not be where I am today. I am incredibly grateful for the Hemophilia Patients Welfare Society and the difference they have made in my life. Their support has allowed me to overcome my condition and pursue my goals, and for that, I will always be thankful.

I never new I had an inherited bleeding disorder inspite of running around different hospitals . I saw an awareness program on television about Hemophilia Patients Welfare Society ,Lahore and got in touch with them .It was after this that I was diagnosed with von Williebrand Disease, it took 10 years for the diagnosis to be made. The Society has helped me tremendously , not only with my bleeding issues but also building my capacity and completing my education . I now run my own Teaching academy. Thank you to the the Hemophilia Society & Treatment Center Staff for helping me in my journey.
